SuperCharged Printmakers Studio invites NEMAA Member artists of any medium to submit three works and be part of show including painting, sculpture, all methods printmaking including non-traditional printmaking and analogue photography to our juried exhibition during Art-A-Whirl°i weekend that Opens on Saturday, May 9 with a musical performance by The Bad Companions Band. The juried exhibition is curated and juried by Esther Callahan, Genie Castro and Paco Castro. The exhibition will be viewed by thousands during our biggest artists studio tour located in Northeast Minneapolis.
Pantone Pantsuit is a juried exhibition expressing creative freedom, colorful platforms of speaking through a visual format. Hippie longhaired artists need apply please but not limited too. Open interpretation of the theme is requested. This exhibition is juried by Esther Callahan, Genie Castro and Paco Castro.
On view Saturday May 9 – Saturday May 31 in #119 of the Casket Arts Building. Our opening Reception is Saturday, May 9 at 6:00. Get the opportunity to show artwork in the gallery of our printmaking studio. SuperCharged Printmakers is a printmaking studio with a Mobil darkroom where you make screen printed fine art prints and t-shirts and create etchings, monotypes, linoleum prints and lithographs. Our studio is a member of NEMAA and we welcome you to take a look at the opportunity as it is a great organization to be a part of join here.
Please submit 1-3 artworks in any print medium and any size. SuperCharged Printmakers will not take any percentage of sales, however we accept a percentage portion of sales.
Artists will run their own transactions by using Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay or cash. We ask that you print out the code on your artwork title card onto cardstock and trim it to 2 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. Please attach 2 printed out art labels with 1 on the back of artworks and one to hang beside artwork. Artworks can be framed but are not required to be framed, however framed works must be wired on the back. Framed works will be safer than unframed works as SuperCharged Printmakers is not responsible for damaged art. Please contact Genie to coordinate shipping artworks.
Our curatorial team will select the works. We are looking forward continuing to grow our community, expanding our reach to serve more people through this experience and many more.
